Hi, I've tried searching and wasn't able to find any results... I work for a large publisher and we're trying to monetize our video content. Does anyone have any idea what the typical video ad serving fees should cost? This would include serving text ads, overlays, etc, into our video content. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
brody, sorry I can't be any help here, but I am looking for the same answer as you. Video ads are kind of a brand new concept that has not been around very long to small webmasters like us. It is going to be extremely difficult to find an answer to this question - I only know of one program that offers this feature (JW video/Long Tail Video for Wordpress) and even with that one, you're forced to share revenue with them, which to me is not even an option. I cannot find any PPC programs that will allow you to put ads in your videos besides that one, probably because it is almost always against their TOS.
Last time i used to buy ads from youtube clone type of site. They charge me $18/CPM which including animated ads at every beginning of the videos
