Randomly fowarding all traffic

    When one of my servers crashed I forwarded all the traffic to a new site I had just created. The result was a rediculous amount of money. Then Google sandboxed the site and my top 10 ranking for a popular search went away.

    Would there be a consequence for having all traffic fowarded to a different site for one day a week?

    How did you forward the traffic? A "301 Permanent Redirect" is the only safe way to do it...

    I think initially it was a 302 but it's since been switched to a 301.
