Randomized Content/Keywords, Evil or Not?

    Hi,

I created a new site and it is pretty good on the search engine position as of the moment No. 11 out of 149 Million when you search "Embed Comments" (and other good keywords like "embed codes", "embed codes for music", "embed codes for pictures", etc...), site is http://www.embedcodes.com, however, the contents does not have good text and keywords and I feel that the ranking will drop anytime soon due to content being static. I know it will get overpowered by those content-rich sites and eventually lose my position.

I created a php code that retrieves random texts or keywords from a text file and show it on my pages. I see other people says random content is good and some do disagree.

Sample of the content I am referring to can be found on my Title, Keyword, Description and the page itself below:
    http://www.embedcodes.com/index.php?cat=Quotes

I am torn with this thought, I am tempted leave the random content on my site and experiment but I am afraid it might cause it to drop fast if random content is not good... What is you opinion on this?

Updating content is a bit of a hassle. Creating new posts on the same thing can be very time consuming. There are plenty of ways you can add new content and keep the site up on the rankings through comment sections/forums or start your own blog.

Static content should not drop rankings but it might get pushed back if there is competitive content that begins to rank better. I've never tried this randomized content idea but personally I would just stick to what you're doing and add something to keep new content (with keywords) coming to the site.

You're ranking well at the moment so I doubt there is much wrong with what you've got. Personally I'd just keep linking building and try and get settled on the front page. How long have you had the site?

I just had it started April 8th, the domain is more or less a month old... I pretty know some SEO techniques that can put a site on a good search engine position but this issue of me having static content and mostly images makes me think it can go down the ranking. This is why I am asking other gurus about the randomized content approach if somebody already have tried this method and worked...
