my opinion: too simple, all compressed in one small width box.
make it at least 800 width, separate between header, content/body and footer.

 

i agree is too simple and very small.

 

Thanks! I will put that in my list of things to update. The reason for that is because it was originally built to be embedded as an application for OpenSocial, and Facebook.

How could I make it less "simple"?

 

I think you should get a theme, a logo, and some graphics to make the site more attractive.

 

That is one thing I don't have access to. I am an engineer with not that great of graphical skills. I am going to try to find someone to make me a nice looking template for the site eventually.

In respect to functionality, how could I improve the site?

I disagree. The minimal design of the site makes it attractive. Why have a colourful cluttered site like everyone else when you can solely focus on the functionality of the site? All it really needs is a logo.

 

Evern if you created a great background and but the form boxes over the top... Try it it might look great. You know like a 3d form or something !

It's so narrow and my first thought on seeing your page was "whats the point". I mean it was more an idle curiosity thing but if your page answered that question I might get more engaged with your website.

OK, thanks. I will try to get a logo and maybe let the user's get a better understanding of the site more easily. I'm going to integrate some social networking features into it where users can befriend each other and what not. Thanks for your feedback!

 

I like the idea, very original; I do think though, that you are wasting too much of the page. How do you plan on making money from it?
