Random House pulls novel on Islam, fears violence.
in another word they thought that her writing will incite violence. she wants to be an authority on the matter. Random House decides they do not want to deal with this.
    what is the problem.
there has been no muslem violence. muslems haven't done a damn fu--king thing here.good or bad.
ofcourse again they should learn how to use non violent means like economic pressure to make their point.

With an argument like that you would be good at defending rapists. You know, by blaming the victim saying she for asking for it.

    Keep blaming book and cartoons.

dude why do you support inciting violence against Americans? that is what they refused to publish it. i do not say what she has done is a crime, where do you see the crime ,victim, and accused?

I think they should publish this book and never back down to threats. If criminals want to to respond by acting violently, deal with them appropriately.

Any violence would be the result of ignorance, not some book.

The publisher not publishing because they feared violence is like a women not wearing certain clothes for fear of being raped. While the fear may be well founded, it is totally unjustified. Bowing to those fears encourages more violence and more threats of violence. People who give up to terrorist threats of violence are weak minded and pathetic.

I think you are making your position clear.

    Have you read the book?

You are against freedom of speech. Call it by whatever name lets you sleep at night, but the reality of your position is simple and clear to everyone.

It's not just about Random House or any other such publication. It's about the sheer stupidity of such threats. First of all, the people who have threatened don't know shit about the book. It is yet to be released. Moreover, the author clearly says that she has carefully worded her book in order to not offend Muslims. What the hell is the problem here and why would they issue threats?

There have been no threats, neither author or publisher have recieved any. They received a "prediction of terrorist attacks" from some professor at a university... kinda stupid if you ask me.
