Random question.. but can i use the word "ass" in my adwords URL? anyone know from experience? My URL has the phrase "kickass" in it... thx
i am almost certain not...tho not 100% sure. Adwords has very strict policies, i mean they dont even allow CAPS, or many exclamation marks etc. I dont think that "kickass" would comply with their policy. Maybe someone else knows more tho.
lol...ud get kicked out i think.. I once got a Adult hosting ad on my computer blog..i emailed them complainoing..they apologized and removed it..\ i dont think its allowed...
I think you probably can use "Kickass" in your display URL. The system will not recognise the "ass" part because it is attached to "kick". Many people sneak gambling ads onto Adwords by joining words. Don't be too afraid of Google's policies. I've had some very graphic ads approved, some of which have included such words as "dildos", "butt plugs", "vibrators" and "strapons" (I was obviously promoting a sex toy shop). At the very worst, you might have to request exemption from Google ad text policy breach. As long as your website's content does not contain any unacceptable content, you should be OK.
