Just a couple years ago, DP was an absolute hotbed of Ron Paul activism. Everyone from communists to anarchists were getting together to support Ron Paul for President. I could not join that group, because Ron Paul is just wrong -- dead wrong -- on a few very important issues. This is unfortunate, as he is right on so many other issues. But what about this Rand Paul guy? Ron Paul himself has said of his son's entry into politics "I think he's going to be a lot better than I am at it because I think he's more reasonable." A reasonable Ron Paul? That sounds too dreamy to be true, like Diet Bacon. Ron Paul was no favorite among the ultra-patriotic tea partiers, but they have taken Rand in like a long lost brother. Ron campaigned against Sarah Palin, but Sarah endorsed Rand. You can read Rand Paul on the Issues to see what Rand says he's all about. It's very clear, for a politician. What do you think about this new Paul?
Havent read the data on this guy yet... but I wanna explore that diet bacon idea of yours... I see a real future in that.
It is called Turkey strips.....tasts good in a sandwich with ketchup, can't tell the difference. Paul is to worried about being soaked with beer to be a good politician, particularly when the church barbeque he attended expressly prohibited alcohol.....definitely an elitist.
Turkey bacon is sooo... nasty. Beef bacon is disgusting too. I ate both many times when I was living at a Muslim-owned hotel. Amusingly, the hotel offered free Tiger beer in the minibar and also had a bar on the premises -- but absolutely no pork. The "Dominos" that opened up recently here in Singapore uses beef pepperoni. It's so bad that even I won't eat it.
