Ramesses II mentioned in the Holy Quran

I didn't know about this thing until I saw this on a programme about Prophets from history. When I was watching the story of Prophet Moses (PBUH) and Ramesses II, the man told that after the wrath of God came down on the Pharaoh, he was drowned in River Nile. I knew that the Quran mentioned this story in great detail but what I didn't know was what he told later.
He told that in the Quran, after mentioning his story, it is said in 10:92 that:

"So this day We shall deliver your (dead) body (out of the sea) so that you may be a sign to those who come after you! And verily, many among mankind are heedless of our Verses"

Not only the body of Ramesses II was discovered from River Nile, but also it was a lot like in its original shape after spending thousands of years in River Nile with his hair completely intact.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the Koran is wrong...Ramesses tomb was discovered with him in it....he was not in the nile....Check Wikipedia for more info...here is what it says:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramesses_II

Once again, the Koran is wrong about something...mohammed was a false prophet only interested in being popular, instead of actually knowing the facts.

what are you trying to prove with the Koran ?

Look what happens to children born where there is NO Koran.
Here are Japanese children learning about robotics so the
    world can be improved.

Here is a picture of a child born where the Koran is loved.

You still think the world needs the Koran ?

I find it fascinating to look at countries that don't use
the bible or the koran and still manage to outsmart those that do.

The moral of the story is obvious.

If they don't have it, maybe they don't need it.

It was an unnecessary comparison, way out of subject.

M Nabil was right to respond with that heartbreaking picture of murdered inocent kids, a common occurrence caused by the terrorist army of Israel.

If you were truly honest about comparing faiths then you should have also included a picture of a Jewish F16 fighter jet terrorising civilians in occupied Palestine dropping bombs by a push of a button.

It's wrong for that women in your picture to abuse that child in a such horrific manner. But aren’t Jewish children taught to hate Arabs? The only difference is that they wait until they join the army to put the terror into practice and kill mostly Arab civilians.

I’m of the believe that religion is the source of most evil every where. Just imagine if religion was out of that place? wouldn’t Palestinians and Israeli live together in harmony and love and no holy bricks! only if.

If we are comparing "divine" authorship of a book and advanced scientific
knowledge, the comparison is most appropriate. I have demonstrated how
a society WITHOUT the Holy Koran can put any society following the
Holy Koran to complete shame. :)
I would LOVE to be shown otherwise.

    TRUE.

But isn't that also true about the bible? Since the separation of the state from the church the whole of Europe flourished. No more dark ages, no more witch hunters and no more inquisitors. The likes of Galileo wouldn’t have been condemned on a charge of heresy if it wasn’t for the bible (alright the interpretation of it). No county in the west would dare to attribute its development and progress to the bible. If any advancement was made then it’s in despite of the bible and not thanks to it.

    Nice talking 2 u;)

It was not discovered my men from River Nile! It was thrown out from River Nile instead of drowning (ie delivered).
After being thrown out, it was discovered by his people and mummified.

And this fact is clearly IGNORED in that page! When the pharraoh and his army were following the Moses and the Jews, River Nile opened up, making way in between and allowing them to pass. But when Ramesses and his army followed, they were drowned. And after that, his body was DELIVERED ashore.

dude, there is no claim to back that up....sorry, but Ramasses was found in his tomb...the facts are clearly ignored in the Koran...it has been wrong before, and continues to be wrong. Furthermore, Ramasses never followed the egyptians into the water, also, it was not the river nile....again, the Koran is wrong about these facts. Moses and the Israelites crossed what is now the Red Sea...
