Just a quick question, what is the official correct greeting after the Muslim fasting month? Happy Eid, Selamat Hari Raya or what. Would like to know the official one so that I don't get laugh at when I greet my Muslim friends
'Happy Eid', 'Happy Eid ul-Fitr' or 'Happy Mubarak' is the common greeting. Wish 'Salam Aidilfitri' or 'Selamat Hari Raya' if your friends is Malay. - Dynashox -
No, "Happy Mubarak" is not correct... Mubarak means congratulations... so "Happy Congratulations" does not make any sense... Happy Eid or Eid Mubarak are correct greetings.
Thanks for correcting. Yes, it should be 'Eid Mubarak'. Btw, Mubarak is not congratulation but a blessed. - Dynashox -
