The Rajastan Royals won the first ever IPL tournament in the last ball of a thrilling encounter with Chennai Super Kings.
Man what a last ball match that was.. If at all it was going to be a bowl out after the leveled scores, still RR would have won! They really deserve the victory
Rajastan Royals made history by scripting a victory in the first ever IPL Tournament Finals at a fabolous event at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. Mumbai Indians couldn't make it to the finals, but there was no lack of excitement when the crowd saw the Indian batting legend, Sachin Tendulkar, in the stands keenly watching the match. The Rajastan Royals would be very happy to have won a match that could have gone either way until the last ball was bowled. The opening ceremony did add colour to the event, especially when the Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan showed up for a dance. Interestingly, the opening ceremony and the presentation ceremony together took more time that the match itself!! Congrats to both the teams for the tremendous effort.
Great match, congratulations to Royals. Warne come back and captain Australia.Ponting is not a good captain lol.
Well it was a great match and I amazed to see Yusuf Pathan's batting. He was the hero of the match and now I hope he will perform well in Bangladesh Tri Series.
ye me too wanted that. But Rajasthan played well through out the tournament and went back with the trophy. This IPL was a great opportunity to a lot of youngsters..
great win by a cheapest team . there performence was very good throughout the tournament. Warn is good motivator and he knows how to get the result. Yousuf Pathan was superb, a danger for brother pathan as both are allrounder.
