    Hi,

I'm interested in learning how the CJ pro's go about raising their site PageRank.

I've tried link exchanging, but it takes forever and hasn't resulted in increased PR for me at all.

I've tried buying links, and that worked too! My pageRank climbed for about one month of a 3-month link agreement. Unfortunately the links I was looking at on EBay have soared in price.

I've tried offering to purchase links directly on my site. http://www.review-a-gadget.com/Sponsor.php So far no takers.

How is it done ??????

Dont worry so about your actual pagerank on the toolbar. Be more concerned with building link popularity with more one way links. One good way is to post frequently on forums, make sure they are good post or you will be kicked off the forums. Also add at least 1 page of unique content to your site per day.

    Hi ExperiencedAdvertising,

Good advice. I forgot how important fresh content was for search engines. Thanks for the reminder. :)

I don't worry about page rank AT ALL. I use social bookmarking, press releases and articles. If you are using a blog to post new items into your site on a daily basis the slow growth with help your seo more than anything. Read my free ebook if you want to learn more.

    Good luck

Successful SEO is not achieved over night. It is a long drawn out ongoing process that, if done right, can be greatly rewarding. Hang in there and keep the site expanding and gowning. You'll improve in number of visitors and eventually PR.

When you say that you "don't worry about page rank AT ALL," does that mean that page rank isn't important to you? Or, do you mean to say that you work your triangle concept and let the page rank do its thing?

Interesting concept with the triangle. I was so busy this past year that I only had time to add new content to my site. I added from 5-10 posts 3x week for about a year - no advertising on other sites and no time for social networking. My site climbed to a PR 8 and has maintained that PR for months. I do carry Adsense and recently added text links. Plus, I seem to have more time to do the social networking. It would be nice to maintain the 8, as that does affect the amount of money that comes into my site from advertisers. But - the point is I just worked one point in your triangle this past year and my PR is better than most similar sites.
