Why would 100k sites be any different than sites below 100k? That would be like google granting MSN, Yahoo, and other large domains superiority based solely on their size...
Cause i got more pages , with more ads, my site gets more spidered , means more backlinks etc etc. and if im not mistaking most large site, aint they threathed in favour by Google just for there size
No, large sites themselves are not treated any differently. Also, our 100k accounts could be that way with referrals, consolidation, etc.
I think we aint understanding one other well, im talking about my own coop account i got, 100k plus pages nevertheless my weight is low cuase of the low PR i got at the moment on my forum pages, .. I was just wondering if it was possible to raise the cap, meaning a higher weight, for people with much content but low pagerank....Damm i sound a bit now like Scrooge.... I was just thinking that it isnt logic when you would compare it with someone who would have lets say only 4500 pages and the same PR, and the same weight.. I would have 100k more pages with text ads but with the same weight. ...Hope im making any sense here but maybe some one could clarify me on this.
because someone with 10 pages and higher pr / ranking etc in other engines will benefit those hes linking out to than you with 100k pages with low pr and low ranking. Its not the size that counts, its how you use it..... umm.. remember anyone can make a million pages, doesnt mean that those million pages or even 1 of those million pages are any good or relavent or have any ranking whatsoever. But if those 1 million pages have nice content, relevent content to the pages / site its on as well as outlinking / inward linking which is relevant then it holds more weight. If building a 100k or 100 million pages would give me more weight than anyone else here then i could do that in a day easy, but theres just no point in it. Hope that explains it, SEO is more about content than number of pages. Golden Rule.
I disagree, a 100k site would get spidered way more often then a smaller site, meaning the change of getting more anchor text backlinks, thats what the coop is about right, would be greater. Btw my domain/forum pages vary from pagerank 6 to 0. And i do have relevent content, although the outgoing links in the coop aint relevant. Nevertheless this discussion is going nowhere... I ll just sssssssssss
"spidered way more often then a smaller site" Actually one could argue that many of the pages rarely would see a spider. I have sites w/ 200,000 + pages that some of which only get spidered once to twice a month. That isn't the point anyway... The real thing is; it would be very easy to throw up an amazon feed w/ different layouts on 50 different domains, and have 300,000 pages each.
