    Radar Rat

I had this site up and running a while back, but changed hosts and am just now getting back to it. The template is a change, and I made a new logo. None of the products/info is there right now.

I want to make sure it looks decent before I do any of that. Another iffy is including adsense. I threw it in there to see what it looks like, but don't know what I think about it yet. Needs time to marinate I guess.

    Any suggestions would be great!

Well, the layout is nice, but you have no products. My personal opinion is any ecommerce site that lists Google ads front and center instead of products isn't really interested in selling anything. Hopefully those will only remain until you finish the site?

Also, maybe you could add a few more "informative" pages. Maybe some pages about the differences between all the different types of radar. You know, educate you customers to a higher priced model.

Looks good. Nice use of consistent colours.

However would change the standard oscommerce clip art in the top right, doesn't really go and brings the rest of the site down.

    Good job.

    Looks good so far.

    A few things...

-Get rid of the goofy osc icons
-Make the menu links look more like links. (arrows in front of them or underline the text)
-Might want to consider making the layout wider. It's a little too narrow right now- IMO

Personally, if you're selling stuff, I don't see why you would need/want Adsense ads.

Like Richard said, easy on the eyes. Looks professional and easy to navigate.
I would however use another (CSS) hover style for the left menu and use another google adsense ad, this one is way to big.
Perhaps you can use a skycraper and put it on the left and change the menu to the right, this will get you the highest CTR.

Thank you all for your suggestions. They are noted. :D

I do think I am going to take the ads down. Don't want a person willing to pay $200 bucks for a radar detector to click on a .20c ad to buy somebody else's product.

The links have given me constant problems. They were too long, that is why I have not included "radar" in some of the categories, just "detector." But widening that out some will do the trick.

Ok, keep them coming, and I am going to work now.

The google ads are a little intrusive, maybe try a more subtle option, but the general design and idea are fantastic! Good job mate.

Changed some things, and added a shareasale affiliate option on there.

    Keep the suggestions coming.

Do some more work on Zencart config. I would personally remove the word "guest" from the login code. I'd also consider implementing se friendly urls - the mod is available from www.zen-cart.com

    Good luck.
