Speech in certain areas shouldn't be against the law. He's speaking in congress, and according to the rules applied there...all should fall accordingly.

What I find sad is that it's okay to fuckin talk shit about white people in generalization...IN CONGRESS!? This country shouldn't accept wackos into Congress. I don't give a fuck what color he is.

Agreed, this guy is a menace.

At the same time, the group putting up the video needs to be gotten rid of:

    Final Solution 88.

Good folks - Neo-nazis, White power, glorification of Nazi Germany, kill the jews, you know, the usual voice of reason.

I actually don't know - what is the process of legally pursuing group's websites such as this? They are anonymously registered through Godaddy - does Godaddy have a prohibition against such crap?

u guys are acting like its a "who says what first matters game"..read the same comments and theres just as many ppl saying all "white ppl should die and be exterminated"

and its one thing for someone to jokingly/or whatever unknown reason posts comments like this on the internet (it cud even be a mental illness case), u just dont know

and a 40 year old man that is lobbying in congress with a congregated support of thousands...
    big big big DIFFERENCE..

its the same thing as ppl saying street crime is just a penny to white collar crime etc

There is so much stupidity in the world. If you let it get to you, you will be depressed 100% of the time.

People are going to think and say stupid things. There's no cure for that.

It seems to me that we should focus our energies on the smaller problem of trying to keep them from doing stupid things to other people.

I visit boards such as Democratsunderground, FreeRepublic, and StormFront. The last one is extremely racists. I visit it because I find studying others as compelling.

I find for every position there's it's opposite. Stormfront only exists to the level it does, because it influences people based on the opposition. Right or wrong, it will continuely exists if there's 'reason' to. A lot of political thought arise from anti-perspective e.g the antifederalists.

I'm probably one of the few that looks at dems views, repubs views, and white extremist views. The variation they have aren't all that big...actually. I find that in each...there's extremely smart people, but there's a general loophole in how they see things.

I don't know what is sadder. The nut on the video or the fact who ever edit the video seems to think that is the views of Black people as a whole.

That's just as dumb as thinking a neo-nazis speaks for all White people.

the guy who put this up really likes to suport his nazi views. We should get rid of "FREDRICK TÖBEN" and his site finalsolution88.com. Wondering who is hosting this hate website.

You misinterpreted what I said. I said that as long as one are doing something, another will be too. It has nothing to do with "who did what first".

My speakers are finally working so I just listened and watched the video. My thoughts are: I don't care what he thinks, he is just one radical black person, like there are whites. So why make a sudden uproar against this guy? I've not seen a thread (apart from my own) mentioning "Why isn't this guy locked up [nazi]". We just have to ignore people like this, they're never going to be taken seriously. Also, the reason he hasn't be arrested, is because there's this thing called "Freedom of Speech".

Well, not entirely true, at least by U.S. jurisprudence. Amplified speech, for instance, intrudes on the right of the average citizen to get out of the earshot of the speaker, so is considered to intrude on the civil right of the citizen, not desiring to hear the speech. Bullhorn in a neighborhood rant, for example.

Case law has also placed limits: classic, "yelling fire in a crowded theater," (1919), slander and libel, or speech designed to encourage imminent lawless action, such as a riot; "fighting words doctrine," words (i.e., "Fuck You") that tend to inflict injury or breach of the peace, or hate speech - speech that simply spews hate, without substantive merit.

On some of these, it could be argued, the speaker (and the hate site that posted his speech) were both transgressing the common law understanding of "Free Speech."

Merely pointing out the legal perspective - "Free Speech" is not a limitless doctrine in the States.
