I have a site ranked nr1 in yahoo for its keyword, gives about 20-50 hits per day. Same keyword gave around 100 hits a day when it was ranked nr 5 in google ;-) Yahoo is no traffic killer, but its better than nothing for sure ;-)
I am on frontpage of Yahoo for 4 words that have a combined search count of 1050 daily, yet I get only 10 visitors a day combined from all 4 keywords everyday. LOL.
I barely get any traffic at all from google. Very few visits to one of the first and bigger sites I have, and none at all to my others. Most of my search engine traffic comes from google.
yahoo gives you traffic? usally it just gives you a big price bill and loads of useless slurp spiders.
One of our site's received appoximately 15% traffic from Yahoo from the last 4,000 visitors. According to Nielson Netratings, Yahoo! received approximately 18.1% share of U.S. searches for the month of March 2008.
Yahoo! wake up! If Yahoo makes a major overhaul of their services, I bet they could make Google run for their money.
Yahoo sends 20% (8,500 unique visitors a month) of my total traffic. Google sends 55%. However, I notice from Google Analytics that Yahoo's traffic, at least for my site, is of better quality than Google's. Our Yahoo traffic is substantially better than Google traffic in: (1) pages per visit, (2) average time on site, and (3) bounce rate.
