I took an interview with a reporter writing an article on myspace. I was quoted in the article and even had 2 of my sites listed (one which I sold though before I knew it was on Forbes) The article was published April 12th but I just found it now (my brother was reading Forbes and found it accidently) Link: http://www.forbes.com/home/digitale...myspace-google-murdoch-cx_rr_0410myspace.html (my name is Michael Melen) Does this help my domains in anyway? (even though it's not a link since it's listed w/o the http) Does anyone know how I can optain the magazine the article was in?
being in a forbes is a matter of prestige , it will defenately add value to your domain name .. however value will depend on how populor article is ..... you can try to search from google to see which book have published it .
All the articles at Forbes.com are not in the magazine. You may not be able to get it. I would just contact them and ask http://www.forbes.com/fdc/contact.html
It is in one... my brother read it in the actual magazine but can't recall which one. I contacted them... yet to hear back from them though.
Congrats on that, I'm actually supposed to be in there soon. You would think they'd have back issues for sale...
Forbes is a prestigious business magazine. You will want to obtain a copy of that issue and get a hold of an online version of that particular article. Ask them for republishing rights to include it on your personal website. Anyone who has been quoted in a quality publication should include that work with their portfolio as it gives this person an "expert" status in what they do. Congratulations!
Thank you I contacted them through many methods... hope they will respond to one of them so I can find what issue it's in.
