Has anyone tried using Quizilla, Zimbio or Xanga for link-building? Are they any good? I'm looking for a Squidoo-like site where I can write my own content and have heard that hubs become dofollow unless you're constantly active in the community. I don't fancy putting all that hard work in and then losing hte dofollow because I'm busy/on holiday etc.
I consider them low quality web 2.0 spammy backlinks It's probably a better idea to buy more domains and develop satellite blogs / sites for unlimited backlinks to other projects that you have.
- Many thanks Zexy - would you consider them to be more spammy than Squidoo? Does anyone else have any experience of these sites?
I actually just signed up for a Zimbio account yesterday and posted an article, which ended up being a total waste of time - They're using that link-masking crap, so if you're hoping to use them for backlinks, look elsewhere as they're absolutely worthless... I've used Xanga before but never really paid attention to the end results. They seem fine for lower-end spam quality links though - It only takes like two seconds to open an account. Never heard of Quizilla before...
