I think my concern is quite clear to all. I know there would be many backing up this thing. But to what i have read and researched is quite strange and in many ways can be told as different. Yesterday i read about the complete 47 page study done by some professor from NYU for Google quality department. A small summary - "The concerned professor(i forgot the name) was called by Google after they were sued in 2005 by a adwords users. The thing were completely rotating around the illegal paid clicks and the money that was demanded by Google. The professor was then called and he inspected completely with the ad quality team of Google and got out a detailed report. The report not only back up Google but also gets out many loopholes in their system." As i have read the complete but still i can't find any such thing written in the whole document that account can get banned because there are no conversions coming out. I mean this is also obvious that there is nothing in hand of publisher that he can provide conversions to advertisers. It depend upon the visitors and why they are going to click on advertisement of reputed company. Even they can go directly. Now if the above title would be quite authoritative then till today there might be quite few(only big boys including some old) would have been with Google adsense and rest world might have opted for other CPC programs. If we take it otherwise - If these ads were totally dependent on conversions then they would have been called as CPA. To what i would totally agreed is a huge discussion with some real experience as well as those who think that the title is good enough.
I think it's stupid to even think of banning publishers for non-conversion. The best Google can do is to teach Adword advertisers on writing convincing ads, and writing convincing information to entice people to buy.
This is what i am stating. Why it is always on publishers. There must be something that should be from advertiser side. Just take an example - People and even Google say to run the ads as they are. Even they have provided filters and all. But if we go as per Google and make the ads run as they are. Then it should be upto Google to either read the mind of visitor and display the ads. If it is all what that small javascript code do then why to blame publishers?
Guys, it is a success to a website to give conversion for an advertiser. If you give tonns of traffic with no conversion, I dont see a reason to be idle
To some extent i can say you are right. But this can only be possible when we have complete control over adsense. I mean this is only possible with CPA networks then why does advertisers comes to adwords. When they are only concerned with sales then what the hel**l they are doing with Google? You can't say that CPA do not have a huge networks. They do have and even there are huge demands of good CPA networks. When you are to Google then you should expect that as the system is totally automated thus there is no assurity that you will get sales out of it. Yes you will get popularity but how can you be sure that you only need sales as you have applied for adwords? I mean there is nothing that can back up the title.
