Been smoking for over 5 years now and want to quit. Looking forward to buying a e-cigarette. Any feedbacks on it ? Thanks Sharaaz
I've never tried them but be careful; if you want to quit, you may be setting yourself up for a fall. I quit smoking several years ago and I tried everything under the sun to help me stop before finally going cold turkey. Patches, gum, inhalers, you name it - I tried it, and nothing really seemed to help. Don't get me wrong. I would stop smoking for a while. Anywhere from a couple of weeks to a month or two. But before long, I would be right back to 4 packs a day. Looking back, I would say the reason why was because as long as I was willing to use the nicotine patch or whatever, I really wasn't commited to stopping. I was trying let something else fight my battles for me. It wasn't until I made up my mind that I was never going to smoke again and i would have to accept the fact that my life was going to suck for the next couple of months that I was finally able to quit. No patches, no gum, no nothing. I just stopped and it was hard but it worked. But whatever route you choose, I wish you luck. You'll be surprised at how much better you'll feel even after a few months without smoking.
I have no idea of this , but in my family , my dad after 30 years of smoking , stopped smoking last year , then he looks so great and healthy then before , it is a great thing !
