The story starts with a typical female blogger that is entranced with the idea of becoming a celebrity blogger one day and... (Wow! It never crossed my mind actually!)

    ...

    ..

    .

    Dear Entrepreneur,

I really do not want to bore you with the facts of life, or what a great writer I am or even the particulars of past projects that I participated in. However, I will list some quick 'thingies' that will help you decide whether you can make use of a blogger like me!

    1. Price: 300 words for $2.00

    2. Topics: Since it cost over £15,000 per annum to hire an entry-level journalist, do not expect original content in the sense of anything ground-breaking. I am more than happy to offer original content if I can choose the topics and just let me, be me. If you know what I mean. For some insight into my weird and wonderful mind, you can read some posts on my blog at marketingprinciples(dot)co(dot)uk. If you have a particular topic in mind, then please ask first. Since 99.9% of content writers just rewrite content to pass copyscape, you can be sure that it will pass. So don't worry.

    3. I do not have the time to write elaborate articles. But if you want to hire me for articles, then the price is $10 per article. This means it will be well-researched and very informative. I spend at least half an hour up to an hour on research before writing an article, so do not try to justify why a blog post is cheaper than an article.

    4. That reminds me! If the blog posts require any serious technical knowledge and thought, then I will charge standard prices. So to be on the safe side, ask me first.

What is in it for you?

I believe a good blogger will have a real opinion and not just rewrite content. Also, it is common knowledge that people that read blogs do not want to read 500 word articles. That is so boring these days! I agree with the experts in any case. If you want to present some information on the iPhone for example, it is best to offer short and very informational content that cuts straight to the point and do not add all the fat on the side like long-winded articles I read at times. However, I have seen very successful blog posts that were over 2000 words. Believe it or not. It just depends on the type of information. Still, it wasn't some boring article, but a well thought out piece of writing that offered solid information.

So in the end you get a writer that has an opinion and can be very controversial on some subjects. If it sounds like I might be the type of blogger that you need, then send me a message. I will always try to answer within 24 hours. Payment will only be accepted after details have been discussed.

I prefer working with one or two clients, so perhaps it might be worth your while to see if you can hire me over the long term or for a set amount of blog posts. So have a think and contact me, before I change my mind.

    Sincerely,

    Sarah
