hiya, sorry I looked all over the faq's etc. bit of a noob to DP If I believe a user has scammed me (bought a site and had nothing delivered) which DP moderator am I supposed to contact? Or am I supposed to just do it through a Paypal dispute? thanks
I'm not sure if mods will be able to help you in any way. But you can save this link, mods are necessary sometimes...
Not much you will be able to do with paypal or DP. You can post the information in General Chat to let others know but mods do not get involved in transactions. Paypal will not give buyer protection for digital product so unless you paid by credit card, you will most likely not get your money back. If you paid by credit card, you can do a charge back.
Paypal will solve it. If the person values his/her account then Im sure it will be resolved. I had a problem here with a former member and I got my money back from him after countless emails of him saying no.... Also maybe let us and the mods know what user it is so we can stay away from them, or maybe its someones friend and they can get ahold of the person... Good Luck
Start a dispute, that's how I got 300 USD refunded to me when I was scammed a year ago. Hope you get your money back, and please tell the name of the scammer so we can all be on the look out for him.
Send the guy a PM and say you are going to name and shame him on the forum plus all the other forums that sell stuff...
i was scammed on here also and had to start a paypal dispute. got back a whopping 0.20c. apparently he cleared out his paypal account. ur money is probably gone.
hiya, thanks for the rpelies guys. Ive tried sending him pm's but it says "this user has chosen to not receive pm's" Its not necessarily a large amount, but enough to p**s me off lol
