    Black hat techniques, it is risky so be careful, but if you want the fastest way, do this.

    Well, for plan B. Grey hat techniques may give you the answer, you can do legitimate but with a spice

    Better forget all search engine and think of people who you really want to come to your site and have a look of user point of view in your site. This is the first and best way to optimize any site. Have a clear Title.
    Have some meaningful, related, Unique content, design user friendly navigation structure.

    Because all the search engines have their own algorithms, but the simple fact is every search engine want to display relevant pages as per search terms. So you forget about search engine and do it for users. Rest of the things you can do next.

    IMO, i don't think there's a quick way to optimize a site rather there's a right and effective way. as what i always say, SEO is a never ending process and needs hardwork and patience.

    i agree with ramgay, think about the people and not the search engines. bear in mind that seo is an art and not a science :)

    I agree with Ramgay as well. First build a great site: good content, good coding, good titles, good keywords in file-names. That is: a combination of on-site SEO and simply building a website people will be happy to have found, once they find it. The next thing is building links to that site. If you have a great site, related sites will be happy to link to it.
    SEO is a process that takes years. It takes patience. Things can be speeded up a bit with good advertising and other PR moves, but still.

    Search regular in search engines for your site. And do search engines submission and directories submission and just try to approve this submission.

    SEO is a continuous process...be in a hurry and you'll find yourself on top for just a while...first learn the meaning of seo and search through forums and SEs about the techniques that your asking for...each person does have there own technique as each sites works for different techniques...

    And good navigation.

    and all other ways do not qualify for 'quickest' approach :)

    black hat is not very advisable technique to use… but if you’re in hurry, well use black hat but suffer the consequence of being banned by SEs later. Been there done that and suffer :(

    Well combine two methods: Black hat and White hat

    For black hat methods join syndk8.net, the darker sides of SEO may help you
    For white hat methods, observe proper SEO

    Grey hat methods: resource is very minimal so read articles like these and it might help you do the GH method.
