    Good tips. I would add that becoming a Google News Source is also a super fast way to get listed on the front page of Google under the "News Results" heading. This drives thousands of visitors every hour.

    I got a way to 100% make you see your website on Google rank 1, follow my steps:

    1 - Login to your Google account
    2 - Search for your site using "site:www.domain.com"
    3 - Click on the STAR beside your site in the results

    Now you will always see your site 1st in Google whenever you search for keywords related to your site.
    This is called "Starred Result" :)

    *Only you see it btw, it's like bookmarking it. And yea it's on 1st of Google.

    Hahaha Vexez - I actually fell for your post and read it seriously right up to the end before the penny dropped... Good one, now if I can find a way to outrank the starred results of others, then I suppose I'd be a real star. :)
