Quickest ever google indexing?

Discussion in 'Google' started by Rasputin, Aug 16, 2007.

I just wrote a blog entry and was interested to see how quickly it would show up in google blogsearch, so went to check as soon as the entry was posted.

In fact it was showing almost immediately - reporting that it was two minutes since the entry was posted. Now that is fast!

Has anyone ever seen a quicker indexing, a page showing up in search within one minute?

Being indexed in a minute is great...

I usually keep my contents updated and search for new ways of effective quality backlinks where result comes after 2-3 days.

i have seen seconds after posting. You need to understand how google search engine and blog engine works. They aint the same.

blog engine just picks up entries from your RSS feed on your blog, so its quick indexing, rather aggregating not exactly indexing.

On the other hand, google search engine deeply crawls your page and index it.

Hope that helps you understand why google blog engine is faster and its not indexing of any sorts.

    Reps appreciated

I've seen only a few seconds after publishing a blog post. That's the power of RSS feeds :)

    Hello all
Can any Body tell me “Is there different algorithm for blog index and site index.” As we are discussing about blog indexing, how much time a site will take to get indexed.

jones, it depends on multiple factors,

    1) Your site PR and thereby Crawl rate-High Pr sites tend to have faster crawl enabled in webmaster tool.
    2) if you site has RSS, you can get into blog search engine within seconds.
    3) Backlinks to your blog, also help in getting indexing faster

Ping services are the best way to get indexed fast after you post something on your blog, not only on Google but on other sites also.

Time to get a fresh site indexed: 48 hours max, usually a day or less. I will disclose my methods sometime.
