Quick tax question

    I am 18, was filling out my tax info for adsense and there is a checkbox that says "Exempt from backup withholding". I would check this correct? As I owe no money to the IRS..

    YES.

    Only people who have failed to pay as they should or had other problems are notified by the IRS that they must always allow with holding on all funds received.
