Quick SEO question : Does Preposition affect SERP ?

My question is : Does preposition affect SERP ?

Example : Let's say that I want to promote a hotel in New York. So, I want to optimize the site for the keywords like "Hotel NewYork", "Hotel in NewYork", "Hotel of NewYork" etc. Is it the right way ? Or just optimizing for "Hotel NewYork" is enough to rank similarly for all 3 keywords ?

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Most common words like in, of, the, at etc are ignored in most cases. Do the keyword research and optimise around relevant phrases that people are most likely to be searching for...."family friendly hotels in New York", "5 Star New York Hotels", "Buget hotels in New York"...... what ever applies to you.

I agree with TheCrabb. Make change in all keywords and think what common people can search and then start working on keywords
