quick seo domain question

    I want to register a new domain and the domain for my keywords is taken for the .com, is .net just as good or will it be recognized differently by google and the se's?

    I plan on optimizing my site and using blogs and rss feeds to get traffic... i don't know if this matters.

    .Net tld is preferred second choice tld, nothing wrong with going that if you won't find a desired domain name in .com

    yes .. you can get .net its 2nd choice for all where .com domain is acquired........

    I would prefer .com if it's a business. Otherwise it doesn't matter.
