hey friends. i have some doubt. i have a blog http://pay4clix.blogspot.com/ i changed the title about 1 hour ago. and in google, my listed has been updated to the latest title. this means that google indexes my blog very fast. but still, i have pagerank 0.. is it possible or is it in just my case? also, how does google calculate pagerank? blog age, backlinks, content or some other criteria?
PR isn't update instantaneously, even if Google calculate immediately, they will only release the PR updates once every few months, you need to wait for the updates to see your next PR change. Being index is different from having PR changes.
The PR on the google toolbar is only updated a few times per year. Don't worry about PR its worthless.
PR, Worthless, not really If you have a high PR you rank high on Google Serps, Easier to sell domain and many other reasons
PR in and of its self has nothing to do with your ranking on Google SERPS. Page rank can be spoofed its completely over analyzed and over rated. Its like my alexa ranking its something I look at, but at the end of the day if I rank for Linux Consulting (which I do) I don't care of my PR is 0. PR is just a simple analysis of your back links. If I have a PR 7 and tons and tons of high PR sites link to me with the words "Bob is a nerd" that doesn't help me if I want to rank for "Pet Social Networking".
