How old is the website?

I checked the competition and with websites like self.com or health.com it is really hard to rank on first page of Google!

 

It's not ranking yet because I just purchased it in July. The domain had been neglected and the previous owner didn't renew it so I picked it up in an auction. I haven't done any backlinking. I just wrote the content for the site. It will be a challenge to get on the 1st page of Google but it's definitely possible especially with social media having such a say in rankings these days. Getting this site some tweets and facebook likes will really help.
