The new upgrade to BANS 3.0 is now available. I have begun to work with it. I have been using BANS 2.0 for a while, but created my first BANS 3.0 store a couple of days ago. It was a easy as ever to create the new store, an half an hour or so, to get it up and running. I did put this new store on a web host site (IX webhosting), I had not used before. Each web hosting site seems to have their own peculiarities. I had to make a slight adjustment to my template pages CHMODing them to 777, so I could make changes on them. BANS Tech support gave me the information on what to do, to fix this glitch, within their normal quick response time. The eBay link cloaking works just fine. All the eBay listings in the store reflect my domain. (This is the default setting.) The SEO section was easier to use for setting up new pages with meta descriptions and keywords. Individual pages can have their own ads that are different from the template ads that run throughout the store. This was easy to implement. This means you can fine tune your affiliate advertising to reflect keyword subsets (used on individual pages). Finally, I had a friend test a link in my new store when making an eBay purchase and the sale/commission was credited to my CJ Account. I haven't tried the content pages yet. Nor have I tried to upgrade my older stores from 2.0 to 3.0. As those older stores seem to be working okay (making money), I may wait awhile before I do that task.
