Quick Question

I ended up selling my YPN account probably about 6 months ago. Anyway, I was just reading a thread that said how your SSN# stays in your YPN account. If I can remember right, I was able to refill the tax id form and put fake info in before I transferred it. As a result, that should have over placed my real info. Any ideas if I'm right?

    thanks

YPN probably keeps track of all SSN# entered. If the one you entered the second time was invalid the first one is still on file. At the end of the year you will get a notice of how much money they paid you, even if some of it wasent actually paid to you, and you will be obligated by law to pay taxes on all revenue generated and paid for your account.

taxes are based on taxpayer info (not per account), so if it were switched, and ypn accepted that switch, each would be liable for their own taxes. the question is, which address is ypn going to send those tax papers to? also, if any new taxpayer info were invalid for whatever reason, ypn would not revert to the original taxpayer info. instead, they would put a hold status on your payments until your tax info has been validated and notify you of that status. If i were the OP, i would definatley contact that person he/she sold the account to and make sure they got their tax papers when the time comes. Last person you want to try and cheat is the IRS. i guess that depends on how much he made though.

Regardless of how YPN handles all the different SSN on the same account, I would contact the person you sold the account to. Remind them to switch it to their SSN, you do not want to get the IRS involved.

Maybe you should have kept to the TOS that you agreed upon when you signed up stating you would not sell your account.

Ditto...you also better hope that they (that bought your account) don't wind up being able to see your SS#..
