Quick question on finding buyers for your online business

I was engaged in a discussion the other day about selling websites and how easy it is to sell them on flippa or buysellwebsites or even on this fine forum. ;)

And then I got the thinking...what if I wanted to sell an online business. I mean the whole thing. Like an info product in a good niche (not IM) and it was worth a lot of money.

Instead of just listing it up on flippa or some other "sell your website" sites, what could be the approach to finding a direct end user for your business?

Any one who has sold there online business in the past, please chime in. Even if you haven't still drop your 2 cents. Also do you think jv brokers such as Wille Crawford or Reed Floren would partake in brokering a deal to sell a online business, even if its under 5 figures?

If your site make $xxx at least 3 digits monthly, you will easily find the eager buyers.

I think Flippa is good for that as well because on Flippa you sell the site and the business, meaning that if you are making $300 per month you can sell it at 10 times that on Flippa, $3000 for the all thing.
Otherwise you start posting on forums and start spreading the voice around, even word to mouth, flyers and so on, but you have to have a price in mind, and I don't think you can sell from more than what the business makes in one year, i.e. your monthly earning x 12, so that's why I think that Flippa is a good place
