I am promoting a product on Clickbank.

Currently, the page that my traffic get sent to is a squeeze page.

Is it technically possible to send my traffic to other pages instead?

Are you promoting someone else's product on CB or your own?

If someone elses, then you have to send the customer to the page that they specify and you're out of luck.

A lot of people are using these tactics to build their lists for free.

Squeeze pages are typically landing pages that you have to optin to continue. They usually have one specific purpose, to build a subscriber base.

To optin or not to optin, that is a squeeze page ;)

No problemo. A lot of people don't realize the different between landing pages and squeeze pages.

I personally would not promote a product with a squeez page. It's one more hoop for the surfer to jump through and hence an extra chance for the customer to leave and for you to not get credit for the sale.

It is possible, but remember that less than 50% of the traffic actually enters their first name and email.
I prefre promoting a product with no squeeze page.

I hate squeeze pages. I leave the site the moment it asks me to provide the name and email address. Spam, is what comes to mind.

Yes, and yu can send people from any page, directly to the order page, bypassing the merchant sales page.

I talk about this more in details on my blog:

    Clickbank Affiliates

Squeeze page are working good for me. I use an hybrid of squeeze page with links if the visitors do not want to give his email address, he can still browse my site.

After reading articles and tips about his subject on my site and blog, if he found valuable infos, he will still be able to opt-in.
