Hi, I tried looking around and I'm new to blogging. I'm not looking to sell my photos or anything complicated. My goal: The blog to open on one of my photos, a right and left button. User scrolls through. Super easy. All the templates have complicated features and contact page and on and on... Anyone know a template like this? Or an easy way to set up a blog like this? I appreciate any tips or tricks, I'm literally just getting into this and am grateful for any help. Thank you for your time.
check out gallery themes You basically want what these guys do but for your homepage: http://www.commitstrip.com/en/2016/05/10/a-moment-of-nostalgia/ fwiw it appears to be using a custom or obsolete theme but it may help you find others like it.
I'd go with something like this ( http://themeforest.net/item/photology-clean-photography-gallery-themes/12583694?s_rank=3 ), using a fullscreen or parallax slider as the only major feature on the homepage. Hope your venture is successful
