how do i find the correct path to ffmpeg on a server
??

Hello,

Are you sure it's installed?

Try:

/usr/local/bin/ffmpeg
/usr/bin/ffmpeg

They're two common directories.

thanks, figured this out shortly after posting it.
for anyone else that ever had this issue just log in via ssh and type

which ffmpeg

if its installed it will show you where it is.
