Hi I just have a quick question about google Adwords~ I read through its rules and guidelines but their definitions/statements tend to be broad If my site is running a contest (for example) giving out free SC2 cd keys for the first user who reaches 100 posts, is it legal for me to advertise this fact on google with texts like "Free SC2 CD Key giveaway to whoever reaches 100 posts first!"?? If the above text violates google Adwords rules, can you guys give me some tips on how to abide by the rules while making my statement clear? Thank you so much guys~
I don't know if it goes against their rules it's a pretty specific question I think you should email their support to clarify this one for you. I entered "free giveaways" into their search and the results are pretty broad: http://www.google.com/#hl=en&gs_nf=1&cp=8&gs_id=v&xhr=t&q=free+giveaways&pf=p&output=search&sclient=psy-ab&pbx=1&oq=free+giv&aq=0&aqi=g4&aql=&gs_sm=&gs_upl=&gs_l=&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.,cf.osb&fp=994a272661dedc15&biw=1366&bih=643 Check out what they are advertising there if you see something similar to yours, chances are that it's ok.
I have also seen similar ads on Google -- presumably it should be okay but you should be very cautious when using Adwords.
Read through their terms,If not sure contact them. They are such a great fools and they may do anything.
the easiest way is just to try and if they stop or suspend account write and ask why don't give up - if they say you are against the rule try to write second time and ask what is the real problem with your ads
