Quick question about domains and multiple niches

Ive built sites before years ago but never with adsense ads, well now im ready to build around 10 sites and implement adsense to them. Ive brushed up on webdesign and I have a strong background in computer graphics- Im ready to join a host and start finding some niches to build sites around but i have one question..... Say i want to build 10 niche sites. Should I host them all under one domain name or should i buy a domain for each one? I know some of you guys may have 20-100 niche sites, do you optimize each one under one domain or do you give each one its own domain? I know it makes more sense to host them all under one domain but how could you come up with a domain name that would relate to -Say- ten completely different niches??? Or does it not even matter ??
Sorry if this question sounds noob-ish, I have read ,and read all i could about adsense and seo over the past couple months i just never found this info. -Thanks

Use a different name for each niche site and use niche-specific keywords in your name if possible.

Look at the top search engine results for your niches, you'll see how the top results will generally have keywords in the page title, description, and domain name.

There are a lot of webhosts available that allow you to host unlimited domains on one account, I use hostgator and have 70 on just one of their 9.95/mo plans that I use to develop and test new niche sites. If a site starts getting a lot of traffic, you can always move it to it's own account later.

Your domain names will run about $7 to $8 each per year. You can reg a name for up to 10 years. Some good registrars are moniker, godaddy, dynadot, namecheap, etc.. If you look through the forum you may find coupon codes to get a small discount. Stay away from the "cheap names" type registrars (1&1, etc), they may be inexpensive but you'll pay in the end.

Well it depends, if you have a really low budget, then .info domains are quite cheap, idotz.net is one domain site I would reccommend for .info's

They're add-on domains. They are a subdomain in your base account but are accessed by their domain name and have their own email, ftp, subdomains, stats, raw logs, etc.

many hosts have them, it's not just hostgator. They are a great way to develop/park a lot of names without spending a lot of money.
