    Hey,

I always wondered if having a linkback that popped up in a new window lowered the effectiveness of the link e.g.

    <a href="http://www.domain.com" target="_blank">link</a>

is that a less effective link than:

    <a href="http://www.domain.com">Link</a>

No, I don't think so. The target parameter is only used by browers, and search engines will ignore it.

_blank is used to prevent users from leaving your site. It has no affect on the value of a link.

That's what I figured, just making sure, thanks for the verification.
