I am not really a fan of new forums as for today you need to work harder to promote, work harder to get visitors and work harder to make people participate in your forum. I think an informational site with adsense would be better as you can get more revenue with this domain (I liked it). Yeah, you need to work on seo to increase your position on some keywords but it's easier than promoting a forum in my opinion. About the forum; background color of logo and rest of the header doesn't match, there is a little tone difference. If you want to stick with forum you need to use seo mod to make your forum names search engine and user friendly. Good luck.
Not really sure on what to say. I like the fact that you are using vB, but there isn't any flavour, or any real action going on with the theme.
