quick logo contest $2

hi i am looking for a quick simple logo for a new site
www.LMEY.co.uk
it stands for "let me entertain you" and i would like it to look a bit web2 ish
also to represent the video theme
and also to emphasise the l m e and y
i have done a quick logo but as you can see my design knowledge is limited
also i would like colours to blend with rest of the sites template


i will pay via paypal and am going to put a 24hr time on it

You won't (shouldn't) get a logo done for $2 in the contest area - I would hope.

 

to be honest its just the total i have in my paypal right now and i am not asking for anything fancy really

Is not what people will do for two bux actually, lol I really didn't do it for the money, I did it to help him out... but some people just don't get over the $ sign sometimes... maybe one day you'll understand

plus if i need any design work in the future i will pm him the offer first so i would say it was worth his sffort

Well you also ruin the scale for other designers that try to make a living off the design business.

 

It should have been in the freebies section but nobody is forcing you to enter anything. Also as you can see, the quality reflects the prize.

 

I think it was great.. 2 dollars is still 2 dollars.. plus the itrader.

I just wish I would of seen it first.. would of made one better for the 2 dollars less then a minute of work for 2 dollars is pretty good

 

I am sorry but how in the world do I "ruin the scale for other designers" ? Please elaborate... I find it hard to believe that anybody cares that I spent 2 Minutes of my life helping somebody out for 2 bucks... I also find it hard to believe that any designer can really make a living from just doing contests in DP... but I might be wrong... correct me if I'm wrong.

 

it's a free market man; losing a $2 customer isn't gonna make anyone starve.

let the $2 buyer find a $2 designer, i say.
