QUICK - I need HTML COLOR code

I need the correct format for the HTML color code

Ex: <color> red> "text here" </color>


I do not know the correct format, please help!

 

<style ="font-color:red;">"text here"</style>

 

is this for full page text? or sentences?

I forgot to add, that I am looking for sentences

 

x/html structurally works on paragraphs not sentences so you'd use

<p style="font-color:red;">A paragraph consisting of sentence 1. Plus sentence 2.</p>
