I'm looking for an easy to use online tool that will give an indication of the 'link value' of websites. My oDesk contractor (not experienced in SEO) is finding lists of suitable blogs for 'guest posts' and emailing them with a guest post including a link back to my site. This works OK however to increase the response I want to offer a $10 paypal donation to their website. I want a quick way for my contractor to determine: whether it's worthwhile approaching the site with a guest post (website has some link value) whether the post on the website would be worth the $10 donation or not (website has more link value) So I'm looking for some online tool that will do what 'pagerank' tools used to do... probably something that combines alexa and a couple of other indicators (incoming links etc) Any suggestions? Thanks...
I find the GC plugin Chrome SEO quite fitting for your need, though I can't vouch for it's effectiveness since it returns weird results at times. But it's good for checking basic rankings such as PR,Actual Page PR, AR,etc.
Thats not what it matters. It should have more. What sites it links to? How many outbounds links per page? Age of the domain etc. IP location and more. Measuring the value of links based on PR and AR alone is absolute crap.
