Quick critiques on my site

I just got it up and running and was wondering if anyone would make some suggestions on the design and ad placement.

Keep in mind this was JUST recently put on the web so it is by no means complete. I am determined to add much more content to make it a better site overall. I'm also considering registering a domain name for a shorter and an easier to remeber url. Any thoughts on that?

Thanks in advance for anyone who helps.

    Good start.

    - The white header with your site's name on it (on the top of the page) looks off... I would replace the white background so it matches your website layout
    - Ad placement: Change the white background of your ad to the same color as your navigation bar, Change the font text & link of your adsense ad to white. This will be more effective than what you have so far because it'll blend in with the ad, therefore people will actually read it and click it
    - on the bottom, the horizontal adsense ads, change the white background/bar to the same color as your background and change the font to white (blends it better so it looks like the links are part of your site and not an ad)

I hope that helps! Good job so far!

the ads are not aligned with the rest of the site

If you can change this it will be better.

Ok cleaned up the site a little.

Did a little work on just about everypage, but also organized the homepage.

    Comments? Suggestions?

i would really do the left menu almost the same as the "ads"-menu from the top :p - so that there is no much difference between them.
And my first impression is that you did this site only for adsense and not to give important information to the visitors - I would not ever come back to it again - sorry

Maybe you can re size the page?

The page at the moment is a bit big.
I need to scroll it left right before i can see the whole picture.

I believe the most irritating part as a surfer, would be having to scroll it left right to see the whole thing.

The best is to have all the contents centralised.. and everything is readable in one glance. That will increase the chance of visitors actually staying on to read...

The ads placements are ok.. but are they the best converting ads format?

Color and layout looks good. I would stretch the header across the top so it goes end to end at any resolution. I would also make the navigation buttons a little smaller.
