Quick colour question

Hello. Was wondering if anyone could help me with a quick confirmation?

This is my current website: www.patwanet.co.uk

I created the logo at the top online some time ago, but can't remember the exact colour I chose. Now because I'm partially sighted, I can't exactly match this colour with the ones in the colour palette on the web design app I'm using.

Was wondering if someone had a moment, could you please possibly try to match the background blue with a colour palette and tell me the hex value that it is? I want to use this as one of the colours in the website revamp's colour scheme.

Thanks very much for your help.

    Hussein.

Thank you so very much for your help. Being partially sighted is sometimes a curse, but you find ways around it.

I'll use 000095 for the new scheme.

    Cheers and take care.

    I'm getting 000090...

If you ever run into a problem like this again, you can try ColorCop ( prall.net/tools/colorcop/ ), or install the ColorZilla extension for Firefox ( iosart.com/firefox/colorzilla/ )... You are browsing with Firefox, right? ;-)

And it might be worth it to consider using the .gif or .png format for this logo... Or maybe saving the JPEG with less compression. I see a lot of JPEG artifacts, but the underlying color registers at 000090 with ColorZilla.

Err, no I wasn't using Firefox, but will install it right now.

Would something like Coral Paint Shop pro X be good enough to do the compression? Or can Dreamweaver do it?

Will take a look at your recommended tools.

Thanks very much again, both of you.

    Cheers and take care.

Paint Shop should do it.... Or you could check out IrfanView.com

But the thing is, it might be good to remove the compression.... That's why you might want to use .gif format..

Thanks all, I'm still setting up this new laptop and building the desktop computer but as soon as I can get access to its hard drive I'll be able to install the software and get moving.

    Cheers.
