I have a friend who needs to have a "Certificate of Participation" designed for their basketball club.

If possible have a faded basketball type image in background in keeping with theme and because its for kids not too old looking.

Thanks for your contribution Borduria, the border is a little too flowery for this , and the text looks a little too grown up.
The certificates are for kids aged 5 to about 13 years old, so think of what they might appreciate in terms of design.
The faded ball in background is a step in the right direction though.

 

Better, but please keep the colors used in background similar to the logo.
I'd like to see grays/blues and similar colors used rather than green/orange.
Also would like a spot for Name of Coach and date

Im really impressed with the fresh look of your effort Athisa, although maybe make the border a little more solid perhaps.
we really need to add a date section and coach space aswell. overall a really pleasant look.

 

Davidearner, I like the way you've used the logo colors in the certificate, I do think you can improve the overall look of this by having a faded basketball or figures in a basketball type pose in the background instead of just repeating the logo.

 

Great job Borduria, I really like the way you adjusted the colors.

Yes I used a freely available stock vector for the certificate. As far as I'm concerned this as a certificate, I don't see a big issue using a stock vector for this purpose.

Let me know if its okay with using a free stock vector background of a certificate which I used to modify for your design. If it's okay with you, I'll proceed with the edits. Thanks.

 

Its a simple yet pleasant layout but the swirly things in the corner arent very sporty looking.
Try some faded background basketball players or theme if possible.

It's something freely available in internet which you can use for manipulating and personalizing. As they are royalty free, there won't be any copyright issues. Anyway I'll modify the design and post it here shortly.

 

Nice Athisa, but it really needs Certificate of participation on top of what you've done as thats the focus.
I like the look .
