Is it possible for me to generate some sort of income from a marijuana forums? If so, does anyone know if any ad companies like AdBrite, Yahoo Ads, or any others would let me put their ads up? Thanks
Medical marijuana is perfect legal in many states so you should have a problem as long as you are not promoting illegal drugs. It is better to ask them just to be on safe side though.

Just had a thought. Why not google 'marijuana forums' and 'marijuana blogs', take a look at your competing sites in the niche and see what they're running?
A lot of them seem to not be running the "text" type ads, yet direct ads from other companies. My problem is, my forums are not big enough yet to actually get someone to buy a spot.
Can you tell if they're being serviced from an ad provider? When you hover over the links, are they linked directly to the advertiser or do they go through a third party? I can't go and look for you as I'm in the library and every site I've tried is blocked.
as long as you dont promote or have selling of it on the fourm i could see it happening but extremely risky
