Sorry for asking a lamer noob question buy does anyone have an idea what a 'reasonable' amount of traffic I should expect for a BANS site - are we talking 10's of visitors a day, 100's or thousands. I know it probably is a case of..depends.. but I've been trying like mad and still get 20 or 30 visits per site ona good day - should I pat myself on th back or shoot myself in the head
100 per day minimum. Are you adding plenty of unique content to your BANS stores? How long have they been up for? I run lots of BANS style stores (using a heavily modified version of TWP Auctions), and have found that the age old combination of backlinks + content brings in enough organic search traffic to keep them ticking over.
Yeah, I thought I was a bit on the low side, I need som emore content I guess and most of my sites have been up there for less than a month. At least i know what to aim for, no need to panic..yet !
Bans gives you a platform. You still need to do the usual SEO methods for gaining traffic. What Bans will do is offer lots of long tail keywords for the search engines. You need to take advantage of that.
