Hi all, Do you people suggest me some of precautions which are to be taken when surfing net. I always get worried when a link is there, I do not open any as they can have virus affected or Spyware. I am looking for safe ways of surfing. Nowadays Internet as there is rise in internet usage so is the threats.
When i was newbie over the web, i was facing the same problem which you are facing, spend time on web, you will automatically come to know about which one is the good link and which one suspected virus. still u should use mcafee v.10 . just install in your pc, and software will automatically find out if any virus attacks on you, and will automaticaly delete it.
Make sure that you have the latest OS updates (if you have Windows, run Microsoft Update as often as you can) and install programs that help against spyware (if you can't afford mcafee use free recommended programs like Windows Defender). Other than that, you just gotta get used to what you can trust and what you can't trust.
i dont use any kind of av or anything like that but i am behind a router and i dont click on high risk stuff like porn ect..
