Hey guys; Nothing earth shattering here, but just thought I would share an idea I'm having some success with. To build an opt in list for FB... just do it the same as you would for any niche. In most niches, you simply offer something for free in exchange for their email, right?. All you need is something to give away. free ebook, software, etc... What do FB users need/want/have in common? They want to keep updated. Give away a fb toolbar where they can get updates from their toolbar without logging in all day. I went to freefbtoolbar.com, they're not even collecting emails; so dl the toolbar, rip the site and host it yourself or build a similar one. Put up an opt in box (here's the key as they're going to have to confirm to get the toolbar, so most will give you their 'real' email) and collect emails in exchange for the dl and you have a huge list of fb targeted opt ins to market all other fb products to. Farmville guides, mafia wars guides, etc....lol (think CB)...get the idea? For traffic; target fan pages, friends lists, twitter, even blog posts, etc... almost everyone uses facebook for one reason or another...so, most of you know how to exploit the traffic angle - I'm sure. You can even narrow down and target a niche and create a few different lists. For example, have specific pages for people from weight loss, casino, insurance, dating, etc...and have them opt in to specific lists and market specific products to those lists. Hope that helps...
