Agree, redirect is nothing compared to having own landing page ;) That's why I am gonna start using your tool very soon :)

would this work well if I plan to send my visitors straight to the order page with my aff id and setting cookie, bypassing the original sales page?

Hi all, thanks for the questions. I'll do my best to answer all. This might be a long post, so bear with me. :)

To understand what it does, you must understand why an Affiliate may want something like this. We are in the ClickBank forum, so we'll talk in terms of ClickBank.

As a ClickBank affiliate, you are given what CB calls a "Hoplink", (http://NICKNAME.PUBLISHER.hop.clickbank.net). This is a special link for promotion that will earn you the Publisher's set Commission rate whenever you refer a sale to their Site through this link. Now, when promoting Hoplinks, especially in the Business and Internet Marketing niches, you are promoting to a niche that is quite familiar with ClickBank.

Often, when someone sees a Hoplink, being a member of ClickBank themselves, they replace your Nickname with their own in your hoplink that you went to the trouble of promoting in various ways. This effectively "Steals" your commission on a sale you referred.

Many affiliates are afraid of this happening and having their commissions stolen in this way. Hence their want of a good Link Cloaker/Masker which enables them to hide the fact that they are promoting through an affiliate program.

The covertLinks Quick Cloaker enables the Affiliate to hide the fact that they are using a Hoplink to promote a product.

One of the problems with CB, the hoplinks redirect to the Publisher's site and tacks on a "?hop=NICKNAME" to the URL shown in the address bar. This may as well be a big sign shouting "I'M PROMOTING THROUGH CLICKBANK, PLEASE STEAL MY COMMISSIONS".

Using a simple redirect, you still have this problem, the "hop" tag still shows in the address bar.

With the covertLinks Quick Cloaker, it allows you to send the buyer directly to the Publisher's site without adding the "?hop=NICKNAME" to the URL in the address bar. It also hides the Hoplink from view so the savvy Link Hijacker won't see that a hoplink is being used. It does this while still setting your ClickBank Cookies which is how you earn your commission.

An added bonus is, you could even send the buyer directly to the Publisher's Order Page while still successfully having your CB cookies set, which is why I posted this product because in just a short while, I've seen a couple posts in this forum asking how to do just that.

lol, That would be $10/year, per domain/per Affiliate Hoplink. 80 links = $800/year. And as stated above, only hides the affiliate link at the "front end", meaning your link, and doesn't protect your affiliate link/commission once the buyer arrives at the publisher's site and sees the "?hop=NICKNAME" in the URL. I know what you mean though, set up a domain such as "somename.com/recommends" and tack on folders redirecting to the products, etc.

Not to mention, Google Adwords hates Affiliate Redirects and instead likes to see your Adwords ads link to relevant content, such as relevant reviews of products or maybe your own sales page for the product.

    @Goerg,

I have to thank you profusely for sticking up for my product, however, the product being sold here is not quite the same product as you're talking about. The product I'm selling here is my "Quick Cloaker", which is a redirecting script with advanced cloaking techniques.

The product you are talking about is even more advanced, my main product on my Home Page, in that it helps protect affiliate commissions from theft by "Parasite Software", and does so by cloaking the Publishers web site and hosting it on your web site, hiding your affiliate URL and the fact that the Publisher the Parasite Software is affiliated with is being shown, therefore keeping it from stealing the affiliate's commissions.

It will work the same way in that Google won't be able to follow any links cloaked through with this tool.

You bet it will work for this, and it was your other post - (and my reply there) - that lead me to post this product.

No, this was determined to have been a temporary problem. All tests show that direct linking to the Order page now work again. Also, the covertLinks Quick Cloaker Cloaking method uses a very different way of going directly to the Order page and wouldn't have been effected by the problem others were discussing.

    I hope I've addressed everyone's interests here.

    Regards,
    Perry.

For anybody experiencing the above problem, where the Demo page redirects to my Home Page, you must include the "http://" in all of the URLs you enter into the fields.

    Hope that helps. :)

    Ziff,

After reading another thread on here about parasite theft by stealware I opted for the full version. I've been reading up on redirects, link cloaking, the best methods etc. and it's a bit confusing to say the least. Not having to deal with all of that, and getting lifetime updates? That's a steal in itself.

    Thanks!!

Hey wow this works great It actually amazing I can link directly to the merchants order page
I recommend it especially work $10 WOW.

I have a question tho I added the links and in the design tab in dreamweaver I cannot see the links but when I upload it I see it and it works great so my question in how do I make it show up in dreamweaver too becuase this would make it easier when I'm designing my webpages.

Also can anyone confirm if this works even if you are infected with spyware?
